A practical guide to using the rewards app.

Clear answers about access, scanning, Credits, carpenter and dealer connections, field registration, redemption and support.

01Who can use The Glue Company Rewards?+
Getting started

The app has dedicated experiences for carpenters, dealers and salespeople. Each role receives the tools and information relevant to its work.

02Which languages does the app support?+
Getting started

The interface is available in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. A participant chooses a language before sign-in and can change it later in Settings.

03How does sign-in work?+
Getting started

Participants enter their registered ten-digit mobile number and verify a six-digit one-time password. An account can be active on one device at a time; signing in on a new device requires confirmation.

04Can I change my role later?+
Getting started

No. Carpenter and dealer roles are chosen during account setup and cannot be changed later. Each role opens a different workspace and reward journey.

05How do I scan a product QR code?+
Scanning

Open Scan from the bottom navigation, allow camera access and hold the product QR inside the frame. The app detects and validates the code automatically. On web, the same flow also supports typing a code.

06Where is the QR code located?+
Scanning

The app guidance identifies the QR as a scratch card placed inside the sealed product box or drum. Scratch the silver coating to reveal the code before scanning.

07What appears after a successful scan?+
Scanning

The confirmation records Credits earned, product, pack size, applicable rate, new Credits balance and a reference ID. The transaction then appears in Recent Activity and the full transaction history.

08Why did a scan fail?+
Scanning

The app distinguishes an already-used code, expired batch, wrong region, unusual scan under review, unreadable code, missing QR, lost connection and camera or photo permission. Each state explains whether Credits changed and the next available action.

09Is there a scan limit?+
Scanning

The participant help content states a limit of 100 QR codes per day and a two-second cooldown between scans to prevent accidental duplicates.

10What can a carpenter do in the app?+
Carpenters

Carpenters can scan products, track Credits and kilograms, view earn rates by product, follow offers and achievements, see leaderboard position, refer other carpenters, link with a dealer, manage payout details and raise support tickets.

11How are carpenter rewards calculated?+
Carpenters

A carpenter earns at the applicable product-specific Credits-per-kilogram rate. The current rates are shown in the Rewards experience, while completed transactions retain their recorded value.

12Do carpenter tiers change the earn rate?+
Carpenters

No. Carpenter tiers are recognition milestones. Carpenter earnings continue to use the applicable product rate rather than the tier name.

13How does My Dealer work?+
Carpenters

A carpenter may have one active dealer link. Dealers can send a request by mobile number or share an invite code or link. The carpenter accepts or declines the request; accepting a new dealer replaces the current link.

14How do referrals work?+
Carpenters

The Refer & Earn view provides a personal referral code, copy and share actions, and a list showing who joined, who became active and the Credits earned from qualifying referrals.

15What does dealer onboarding require?+
Dealers

Dealer setup collects firm and owner details, email, GST number, shop address, city, state and PIN code, followed by payout details and a final review. Identity verification is handled at the relevant payout stage.

16How does the dealer tier system work?+
Dealers

Dealer progress runs through eight financial-year tiers: Starter, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Royal and Legend. The tier is recalculated after eligible scans and determines the rate applied to future activity.

17Does redemption reduce a dealer tier?+
Dealers

No. Redemption reduces the available Credits balance. Dealer tier is calculated from cumulative kilograms in the current financial year and does not fall when Credits are redeemed.

18What happens at the start of a new financial year?+
Dealers

The yearly kilogram counter resets at the start of the Indian financial year and tier progression begins again from Starter. Earned, unredeemed Credits remain in the account.

19How does a dealer build a carpenter network?+
Dealers

A dealer can invite with a QR or shareable link, or send a link request to a carpenter's mobile number. Pending, linked and declined relationships remain visible in separate views.

20Do dealers earn when linked carpenters scan?+
Dealers

Yes. One validated scan can credit the carpenter at the applicable product rate and the linked dealer at the dealer's current tier rate and product factor. Both entries remain traceable to the same activity.

21Are Credits the same as money?+
Rewards

No. Credits are loyalty-programme points recorded in a ledger. Redemption creates a payout request for an eligible rupee disbursement; the app does not operate as a stored-value bank wallet.

22Where can I review Credits activity?+
Rewards

The Credits view shows available Credits, today and monthly movement, total Credits and kilograms for the financial year. Transaction History can be filtered by earned or redeemed activity and searched by amount or reference.

23How is a redemption requested?+
Rewards

Open Credits, choose Redeem, enter an eligible amount, confirm the UPI or bank destination and submit. The app records the request and follows it through awaiting approval, processing, paid, failed, rejected or reversed states.

24When should an approved payout arrive?+
Rewards

The in-app help guidance states that an approved UPI payout typically arrives within one to three business days. A notification is sent when payment is released.

25Why can a redemption be rejected?+
Rewards

A request may be rejected when payout details cannot be verified or an account review identifies an issue. The reason appears in transaction history so the participant can correct the payout destination or contact support.

26What does the salesperson experience contain?+
Sales

Salespeople can register dealers, view their attributed dealer book, follow active, pending and rejected status, open dealer detail, and track assigned dealer-count and network-volume targets.

27What is captured during field registration?+
Sales

The form records firm, owner, email, GST, address, city, state, PIN code and the registration location. The dealer remains attributed to the salesperson while verification is completed.

28Is the commission figure a payout balance?+
Sales

No. The Targets & Commission screen identifies commission as a reported figure calculated from attributed activity. It does not provide redemption or payout actions.

29How do support tickets work?+
Support

A participant selects Technical, Payout, Account or Other, sets a priority, describes the issue and may attach a JPG or PNG up to 5 MB. The ticket keeps the conversation, attachments, status and resolution together.

30How quickly does support reply?+
Support

The in-app ticket form states that the team usually replies within one working day. Open, in-progress, resolved and closed states remain visible in the ticket list.
